Abstract

The main problem of this research is the lack of a model for designing and implementing agricultural family businesses in the country. However, the main goal is to design a model to include the main components of the family agricultural business and the relationships between them, and to show the logic of how the business works as a whole. In this research, first by studying the research literature, the conceptual framework of the research, which consists of components, the interface between them and their content, was obtained. Then, based on the interview protocol, semi-structured in-depth interviews were conducted with twelve experts in the agricultural business sector. In order to analyze the data, the theme analysis method was used and the results obtained were 1596 codes and 565 basic themes, 86 organizing themes and 13 inclusive themes. As a result, the business model of the agricultural sector was designed with 12 components of customers, value proposition, revenue flow, channels, relationship with customers, cost structure, key activities, key resources, human capital architecture, financial capital architecture, key partnerships and strategic business management.
