Abstract
This research is a study based on ethnosemantics about the way of understanding, categorization and semantic configuration of Barakeh in work among the employees of the Imam Khomeini Relief foundation of Kerman. The sampling method among the employees of this organization was the maximal variation until reaching theoretical saturation. In this regard, in-depth semi-structured interviews were conducted with 16 employees. In order to find the meanings of Barakah in work among the participants, the method of content analysis was used, and to analyze the dimensions of contrast and semantic components of Barakeh’s meanings, the method of componential analysis of meaning was used. Based on the findings, 5 meanings were found for Barakah at work in the studied organization, which were transcendental effectiveness, efficiency, personal success, sustainability, and excellence. Also, the two dimensions of contrast of the meanings of Barakah at work were a) consequence with the semantic components of material individual, spiritual individual, material organization and material extra-organization, and b) tactic with the semantic components of delegating, self-confident knowledge-based work, best work, sincere work, and useful work.
