Abstract
This study designs a strategic model to strengthen Iran's economic interactions within the Axis of Resistance, centered on leveraging ideological competitive advantage against global hegemony. It emphasizes the economic dimension's vital role in supporting the Resistance's military, political, and cultural efforts, identifying resistance ideology as the core competitive strength. Using qualitative content analysis within an interpretive paradigm, data was gathered via semi-structured interviews with 20 academic and executive experts in economics, political science, foreign policy, and Resistance affairs. The resulting model comprises four main elements: Antecedents (national, transnational, implicit requirements); Context, including Drivers (structural-geopolitical, political-ideological, economic-technological, transformation factors) and Barriers (transnational threats, environmental challenges, domestic weaknesses); Content (foundational values, strategic principles, ideological requisites, operational capabilities, key discourse); and Outcomes (economic achievements, enhanced political-security power, cultural-civilizational development, strategic autonomy). This framework aims to provide a conceptual and policy-oriented foundation for redesigning Iran’s economic diplomacy strategy within the Axis, enabling purposeful utilization of its ideological capacity for cooperation.
